Phonon Harmonic Software ver. 6.15, 64-bit

The Phonon Software executable ver. 6.15 is a 64-bit file and was tested on Linux platforms: Ubuntu, (Ubuntu 10.04, 12.04, 14.04, 16.04 LTS, 64 bit), Mint, (Mint 14, 64 bit), Suse, (Open Suse 12.3, 64 bit), Scientific Linux, (SL 6.3 Carbon, 64 bit). Standard Phonon Software executable is functioning if code text and data size is less then 2GB. On request there is an executable which serves for jobs with data size limitted only by avaliable addressing memory space. All executable files are protected by the USB hardware Security Key (without a driver). Phonon Software for Linux requires to install a distribution of Open Motif 2.2 or 2.3.

In order to use Phonon Software for ab initio phonon calculations you need also a license of an ab initio code, like VASP, Wien2k, or others, which can perform quantum-mechanical supercell optimization and determine the Hellmann-Feynman forces with sufficient precisions, at least 0.000100 eV/Å.

The Phonon Software is distributed under a license of a Linux Single User (see Frequently Asked Questions for details).
