Windows Platform
The Phonon Harmmonic Software executable ver. 6.15 is a 64-bit file and was tested on Windows platforms: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10. The Phonon Software 64-bit runs on 64-bit computer architecture only. All executable files are protected by the USB hardware Security Key (without a driver).
In order to use Phonon Software for ab initio phonon calculations
you need also a license of an ab initio code, like
VASP,
Wien2k,
or others,
which can perform (i)quantum-mechanical supercell optimization
and (2)determine the Hellmann-Feynman forces with sufficient precisions,
at least 0.000100 eV/Å.
